The Immortality Sect is a cult-like association that practices demonic martial arts, attempting to follow the will of their former leader, the Immortal Demon Supreme.
Kang Sung believes they are a powerful enough entity to rival the Black Forest Sect or Martial Arts Alliance on their own.
Overview[]
They are a forbidden topic within the Murim. Kids are taught from a young age to never even mention the Immortal Demon Supreme. Almost all texts mentioning him are burned and although at least a portion of their martial arts appear to be cataloged within the Heavenly Way Sect's Library, the practice of these demonic techniques is outlawed.
The core group led by Ma Young-Sik had remained in the Impermanent Prison for the last 50 years as it was home to the blessed sacrament of their sect leader. However there are also other members of the Immortality Sect all around the world. The members outside of the Prison had enough money to hire Han Chun-Woo, who is typically hired by international governments to carry out military operations, to search for the Eternal Ki for them. This would suggest they have substantial wealth behind them.
There were three Immortality Sect followers in South Korea outside of the Impermanent Prison however Goomoonryong killed all of them (Lee Jang-Hee actually killed himself). It is implied he may have killed more Immortality Sect members outside of Korea, the only example of such a case being the fat axe wielding elder he disposed of in his first full appearance of Part 3.

The Immortal Demon Supreme appeared in the Murim 60 years before the events of Part 3. He was captured 10 years later but in that time frame the Immortality Sect were the biggest threat to the Murim.
The Breaker Eternal Force[]
Upon the explosion of the bombs planted in the Impermanent Prison by Baek Son-Ho and the desecration of the blessed sacrament of the sect leader, Ma Young-Sik and his fellow sect members escaped, no longer having any reason to stay in the prison.

Immortal Ki Accumulation[]
- The defining ability of the Immortal Demon Supreme. Ma Youngsik has also taken his first step towards mastering it.[1]
Heart Suppression Technique[]
- The demonic art that binds it's opponent. It can immobilise several opponents in an instant for an unknown duration of time as long as the user keeps concentration. The amount of people that can be halted at once depends on the skill level of the user.
Lightflash Strike[]
- A super speed attack that cannot be evaded unless one has attained the level of Advanced Master.
Demon Shadow Steps[]
- A technique very similar in appearance to traditional Phantom Steps although Ma Young-Sik used it to get right up close and just in behind his opponent.
Death-Point Striking-[]
- The full name of this attack hasn't been revealed but it essentially appears to be a pressure point attack where Ma Young-Sik jabs his finger into the back of his opponents neck with devastating effect if landed.
